MODEL 8000

IE Sight Flow Indicators

Visual Indication

IE Sight Flow indicators are offered in three models; plain, drip-lip, and flapper. All units have two viewing windows of high-strength tempered glass. They are available in steel and 316SS, with either flanged or threaded connections.

Overview

IE Sight Flow indicators are offered in three models; plain, drip-lip, and flapper. All units have two viewing windows of high-strength tempered glass. They are available in steel and 316SS, with either flanged or threaded connections. Model Plain: Indicators are used in application to detect the presence or absence of the process fluid, or its characteristics.

The absence of a specialized flow indicator allows the plain indicator to be mounted in any position. The indicator should be used with readily visible fluids which can be unidirectional or bidirectional flows. Model Drip Lip: Indicators are used with low flow applications. Drops form on the drip lip which is visible through the sight glass. This indicator requires vertical mounting with flow from top to bottom.
